Start with the free Stem Splitter to turn songs into a practice room: standard splitting, chords, loops, tempo and pitch are always completely free, with no trial expiry or daily or monthly upload quota. Download limits do not stop instrument practice. Alongside it are six free utilities for measuring, tagging, converting and sharing your music. Three work entirely in your browser; three live in the SoundBoost web app and use a free account.

#Where the browser tools live
- LUFS Meter, Loudness Penalty and the Metadata Editor are pages on soundboost.ai. Your file is opened locally and never leaves your computer.
- The Audio Converter, Text to Audio and Link in Bio are in the app, under Free Tools in the sidebar. The first two pages open without an account; pressing Convert or Generate asks you to sign in, which is free.

Are they really free?
Yes. Standard stem splitting and instrument practice are free with unlimited uploads. Stem downloads and premium separation have their own membership rules, explained on the free Stem Splitter page. The other six utilities require no paid plan; the three web app tools use a free account.
Do the browser tools upload my file?
No. The LUFS Meter, Loudness Penalty and Metadata Editor open the file on your own machine and do their work there. Close the tab and nothing is left behind.
Do they work on a phone?
All seven open in a phone browser. Stem splitting and practice also run in our iOS and Android apps, including the dedicated Stem Splitter app. Use Safari or Chrome for the other six utilities.
