Making the film

#The footer of the storyboard

Two controls and a sentence, at the bottom of the storyboard. Quality (shown until a film exists) picks the motion engine and resolution for every scene. Next · Make the film asks for a quote and opens the confirmation. The line under them tells you the state of things: that you can start now and the storyboard will be finished first, that your story changes will be saved and their images updated first, or, once a film exists, that only changed scenes will cost.

#Quality

Your choice is remembered per project. Once a film is generated the quality is locked for that project, because mixing engines between scenes would show; changing it later regenerates every scene, and the confirmation says so.

#The confirmation

The dialog says what will be done and what it will cost, in three lines: Scene preparation (frames still missing, story edits to apply, images to repair), Video generation (the motion, per scene) and Final render, with the total as Estimated cost, and the same number on the button. Under it: "Credits are reserved one step at a time. Only completed work is charged." and "Reused images and clips aren't charged again." Approve with the button; Keep editing closes it and nothing happens.

• "We'll generate your film from this storyboard." The storyboard is complete and every image is current.
• "We'll finish preparing your scenes, then generate your film." Some frames need a retake first (a story you edited, a frame that failed). They are repaired before filming, with the original builder.
• "We'll finish the rest of your storyboard, then generate your film." You are approving from a preview. The remaining scenes are written and framed first, so the scene count in the estimate is an estimate until then.

#What a film costs

Motion is most of the price: every scene gets at least one take, longer scenes more, and the quality you pick sets the rate. The confirmation always shows the real number for your project before you approve; Plans and credits has the rates and a worked example.

#Starting early

You do not have to wait for the storyboard to finish, or for retakes to land, before approving the film. The readiness line says You can start now. We'll finish the full storyboard before filming. The film request is durable: it waits for the work in progress, applies your pending story edits and take selections, repairs any stale frames, extends the storyboard to the end of the song, and only then shoots motion. The order matters, because continuation scenes are framed against the updated frames before them.

#While it generates

The button becomes Generating… with a slow sweep and the quality locks. The status line reads Preparing your film, then N of M scenes ready. You can leave this page. with a progress bar and a remaining-time range such as "About 12-18 min remaining". A full-length song usually takes about twenty minutes: a few minutes of frames and repairs, most of it motion shot in parallel, and a final render that includes the overlay, the grade and the streaming package. Close the tab if you like; the film waits in Projects and the page flips to Your film is ready. when you return.
