Chords and lyrics
Every split comes with a chord timeline, practice diagrams for guitar, ukulele and piano, and synced lyrics you can follow, edit and export.
#Chords
Press Chords in the header. The analysis runs on the harmonic stems (bass and other, plus guitar and piano on a 7-stem split) rather than the full mix, which keeps drums and vocals from confusing it. You get a chip per change with a timestamp, including sevenths, suspended chords and "N.C." where nothing is playing. The chord analysis also sets the song key shown in the header.
Practice Mode
- Practice Mode turns the timeline into a big "now" diagram with the previous and next chords beside it, so you can look at the screen instead of the neck.
- Pick Guitar, Ukulele or Piano diagrams, and sharps or flats for the naming.
- Expand the panel for a full-height view when the Studio is on a second screen.
#Lyrics
Press Lyrics in the header. The words are transcribed from the isolated vocal stem, word by word, and the language is detected automatically. Click any line to seek there; the current word lights up as the song plays. Edit lets you fix a misheard word or a name; edits are saved with the project. The export button opens Export Lyrics, with Copy to Clipboard and Export as PDF, and an option to include the chords. The Chords toggle inside the panel prints the chord above the words, chord-sheet style.
The chords are missing
Analysis starts after the stems land and takes a minute on long songs. Reopen the panel; if it still says nothing, the song may have too little harmonic content to read; a drum piece, say. Try onto.
Can I get the chords as a file?
Export the lyrics as a PDF with "Include chords" ticked; the chords sit above the words. There is no standalone chord chart file yet.
Which languages?
Most languages are recognised automatically, and the panel shows the detected language tag next to the title.
